God’s Word Should Not Be Absent Because of Poverty

「Could you give us a few hundred more copies? We want to take them back for our congregation to use.」

This was the plea made last summer by a local pastor as the first Bible Discipleship Workshop in Mexico came to a close. He held our hands, his eyes brimming with longing. In that moment, we deeply understood: the limitations of text and language cannot quench people’s hunger for God’s Word.

This July, staff members from Spring of Water International Ministries, along with 40 mission volunteers, will once again embark on a Bible Discipleship Mission Trip to Ensenada, Mexico.

This time, we will deliver the “Spanish-language Book of Joshua Bible Study Guide” and “Spanish-dubbed videos”—filled with hope—into their hands. Our goal is to enable every pastor, every family, and every small group to take deep root in God’s Word and put discipleship into practice using the language they know best.

📍 This year, we’re going deeper and farther:
⛪ Bible Discipleship Workshop | Connecting with over 100 pastors to build up the spiritual discipleship resources of local churches.
🏠 Nursing Home Ministry | Bringing comfort and hope to elderly believers and residents.
🌱 Rehabilitation Center | Accompanying brothers and sisters on the path to recovery with love and God’s Word.
🌿 Indigenous Churches | Serving pastors and believers in local indigenous communities across ethnic boundaries.

God’s grace knows no boundaries, and God’s Word should not be absent because of poverty.
