📅 From August 3 to 5, 2026, the second “North American Bible Discipleship Maker Camp” successfully concluded at the Mission San Luis Rey Retreat Center in California. Nearly 60 pastors and ministry staff returned home enriched—bringing back not just notes, but a discipleship blueprint tailored to their own churches that they could implement immediately.

📖 The Foundation of Truth | Professor Ai-Guang Chen of Orthodox Gospel Theological Seminary set the tone for the entire camp with his message, “Following Christ: The Path of the Disciple’s Life.” This profound and thought-provoking message cut to the heart of the deepest issues in church ministry: the lack of growth among believers and the shortage of ministry staff are merely symptoms—the true obstacles are “spiritual malnutrition” and widespread spiritual consumerism. Drawing from Scripture, Professor Chen pointed out that believing in Jesus means following Him; discipleship is not an advanced option in the faith, but the direction of every Christian’s life. Furthermore, discipleship is not merely one of the church’s many ministries, but the blueprint that shapes all of its ministries. The solution to all of this must return to nourishment from God’s Word—and this is precisely the mission of “Sowing” multimedia Bible teaching materials: to ensure that every discipleship setting has a solid foundation in God’s Word.
