It is next month! The Chronicles Discipleship Training online seminars are about to start!
To ensure more participants from different time zones can join this discipleship training movement, SOWIM, for the first time, added a new time slot to cater to those living in the Europe time zone. There are now three time slots for the online seminars. We want you to be part of it, so please join us!
Let us engage with the Chronicles from the perspective of discipleship, participating in discipleship training for God and living out the chronicles of God together!

On the spot of discipleship training –
sister Cathy Bai
Sister Cathy Bai is a leader who helps people in the church “to be the disciple of the Lord”. Just like every traveler who embarks on a discipleship training journey, she faces seemingly impossible challenges. Sister Bai’s “fellow travelers” range in age from their twenties to ninety-eight years old. Having to lead such a diverse background, she feels lost:
“Feeling perplexed, not knowing where to start, what main points to address.”
But, what God wants is a willing heart.
Sister Bai was invited to attend the SOWIM’s 2023 “Book of Samuel Discipleship Training” online seminar. She first wade through the scriptures and was discipled by God. She described her journey of discipleship training as:
“As if I have taken a booster shot, drank a nourishing tonic, I was fully equipped, in the end I felt each lesson of forty-minutes was not enough.”
Sister Bai who initially felt lost, was once again strengthened by God’s words through the seminars of SOWIM online discipleship training. She started her own discipleship training with her fellow “travelers”, and she witnessed the work of the Holy Spirit:
“Seeing them (referring to fellow travelers) listening with undivided attention and watching with absolute concentration, I am really not only grateful for the presence of the Holy Spirit, but also grateful to the two pastors (referring to the two speakers of SOWIM seminars) for their rich and profound teachings”
May glory be to God who calls us to walk with Him, who establishes the work of our hands, and accomplishes great things!

A mission trip to Egypt that integrates spirituality, intellect and the Great Commission
When stepping onto the land of Egypt, one senses the ancient civilization nurtured by the Nile River, and one reflects on the distinct marks the gospel of Christ left here in the past. The Egypt Mission Team will soon depart in February. We anticipate God using each team member, in various capacities, to bring the Gospel alive wherever they go, once again making Egypt a beacon of salvation in the Arab world. Please pray for the short-mission team – may they be kept safe, able to use God’s words to share and encourage the local Christians, and may they also demonstrate the mighty power of God’s gospel whenever they come interact with people.
Joining hand with the Presbyterian Church Ministry of Education
Making Sunday school the field for discipleship
In the first half of every year, the Ministry of Education of the Presbyterian Church would travel around Taiwan by introducing the latest Sunday school materials to help prepare each Sunday school teacher to embark on the journey of discipling children. We thank God for granting SOWIM the grace to participate in it, and to witness, accompany, or think about how to guide the children to the presence of God. We invite you to cultivate the children’s hearts with prayer!

- Daily management of social platforms, post articles, and interactive messages (good and logical writing skills),
- Promote related project ideas, material production, copywriting, graphic editing, poster design, etc.,
- Complete tasks assigned by the supervisor.
