Current Discipleship Bible Study Groups

The first cycle of SOWIM’s Discipleship Bible Study Groups will study the book of 1 Kings. The study begins on February 10 and will run for 18 weeks. Each of the six groups will meet weekly at different times for 1.5 hours Bible study via Zoom.

Operational Overview

  • The study group utilizes a small-group format, with one Guideand at least one Companion.
  • Meetings are held weekly in in-person, online, or hybrid formats.
  • book from the Bibleis selected for study using the SOWIM Discipleship Life Bible Study
  • Each member is required to purchase the printed or Kindle versionof the SOWIM Discipleship Life Bible Study Guide for the selected book.
  • Participants commit to 15 minutes of daily personal studyand weekly group reading, discussion, and sharing for approximately 5 hours per week. Depending on the length of the book, the study lasts between 8 to 25 weeks.

  • Upon completion, participants receive a SOWIM Discipleship Life Bible Study Certificate.
