The King's Completion: God's Timing
On October 7th of last year, the filming of “The Book of Kings” officially began in Israel. However, no one could have predicted that this day would coincide with the most severe military attack between Israel and the Hamas armed organization in 50 years. Yet, God had already provided guidance and comfort earlier that morning during the pastor’s devotion, giving him the verse from Nehemiah 2:20: “The God of heaven will make us prosper.“
Praise the Lord! Despite the missiles flying at the filming location, the production team miraculously completed all their shooting plans over the course of eight consecutive days on the war-torn land.
As we enter 2024, we face numerous challenges: the political turmoil of the U.S. elections, the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, the concerning cross-strait relations between Taiwan and China, and the ever-declining moral standards in society. In this era, how should we as Christians conduct ourselves? How can we truly be the light and salt in this increasingly darkening world?
The release of the “Book of Kings” film and the accompanying Bible study materials this November is the perfect timing chosen by God. He is the true producer and director behind this work, aiming to clearly reveal God’s revelation to people and guide us on the path forward.
We invite you to join us in offering your contributions and prayers. Our offerings are not because God lacks resources, but because He has given us the precious opportunity to be a part of His kingdom. Let us witness God’s glory and continue His grace in this great ministry together!
Bringing God's Word to the Ends of the Earth
“The Lord is the God of all the earth.” The calling and grace that God has given to SOWIM is that through the production of discipleship Bible study materials and films, and through missions, we can bring God’s Word to different peoples, making all nations the disciples of the Lord Jesus. We are grateful to witness His wonderful work in fulfilling the Great Commission.
