Welcome Pastor Daniel Chuang to Serve in
SOW Taiwan as the Chief Executive Officer
August 1st, 2020 is a day of joy and celebration at Spring of Water International Ministries: we welcome Pastor Daniel Chuang to serve in SOW Taiwan as Chief Executive Officer in the season ahead.
Pastor Chuang serves as faculty at Taiwan Theological Seminary. He was senior pastor at the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan at Pandin, and has participated in many Good TV productions both on screen and behind the scenes. In his new role, Pastor Chuang will lead SOW to listen more sensitively to the spiritual needs among Taiwan brothers and sisters, and to address these needs via multimedia Bible study resources, social media, and face-to-face events. Our vision is to use solid Bible resources to enable brothers and sisters to enjoy God’s words more fully and richly. Click on this link for Pastor Chuang’s greetings and vision sharing to all of us!
From Darkness to the Light of Dawn
In a darkest time in the history of Israel, our God in his faithfulness called Ezra the scribe to lead the Israelites out of exile and back to Jerusalem. Leaning on God for help and wisdom, Ezra re-established the worship of Yahweh among the Israelites and ushered God’s people into the hope of a new dawn. May we learn from the life of Ezra to be God’s light and shine in this age of darkness and confusion. To listen to Pastor Susan’s sermon “From Darkness to the Light of Dawn”, click here.
Psalms Study Set: Will you partner with us ?
We understand the year 2020 has been challenging. However, in the moment of darkness, we can be confident that God is always in control. We are thankful that the progress on the Book of Psalms Bible Study Set has entered the final editing phase. If God moves your heart to donate and support our production and distribution costs, please click here. We pray that God will use this multimedia resource to bless brothers and sisters abundantly. As we practice reading the Psalms in the context of the Biblical canon, of history, of the Hebrew language, and of different literary genres, may we develop more comprehensive insight into the Psalms. May this learning resource open doors for us entering into a more intimate and lifelong relationship with God.
Wait on God with a Confident Hope
I wait for the LORD,
my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.
I wait for the LORD more than watchmen wait for the morning,
more than watchmen wait for the morning. – Psalm 130:5, 6
Psalm 130 is both a song of ascent and a psalm of confession. The psalmist trusts in God’s grace and forgiveness, knowing that even the darkest nights will give way to the light of dawn. May we focus on the words of God in the Bible and return to the Bible scriptures. Seek God first.
May rivers of living water flow from within us who believe in Him!
